Hi, we’re Caitlin and Kathleen—the friends behind The Little Mercantile BHM. We’ve known each other since grade school, and over the years our friendship has grown through family, travel, and a shared love of finding things that are both beautiful and practical.
Caitlin has always had an eye for timeless style. She loves vintage finds and has a gift for mixing high-end favorites with affordable pieces that families can actually live in. As a mom, she knows children’s clothing should be just as practical as it is beautiful.
Kathleen has always loved shopping for her nephews, and becoming a foster mom has given her an even greater appreciation for quality clothing that can be loved and enjoyed by more than one little one. She’s learned that the best children’s clothes aren’t just cute—they’re the ones that hold up, become favorites, and are loved for a long time.
